Yankees win 4-1 taking series vs Twins

YANKEES WIN!! The Yankees take the series from the Twins as they win 4-1!! The game ended a tad early today due to heavy rain but the Yanks got the job done!

The offense was solid today and was able to give German the run support he needed. In the 2nd, DJ LeMahieu reached on an infield single and two runs scored due to errors by Minnesota! Then fast forward to the 4th, and Mike Tauchman launched a 2 run shot to extend the Yankee lead!

Domingo German was absolutely brilliant today! He continues his dominance in the early season as today he tossed 6.2 quality frames allowing 1 earned run and striking out 7! Ottavino then came in and pitched 2/3 of an inning walking one and striking out another. Chapman then came in and shut down Minnesota in the 8th and picking up the save!

The Yankee will begin a 4 game set at home vs Seattle tomorrow!
