Yankees White Sox Series Preview
By Max Grzymala

The Yankees are coming off a double header split with the Mets. They will now face the mediocre White Sox with yet another chance to put some distance between themselves and the Rays.
Game 1 Thursday June 13th
Pitcher Preview
J.a. Happ will take the mound against former Yankee Ivan Nova. Nova isn't having a very good performance this season, his ERA is over 6 and he has allowed 13 home runs to this point of the season. Happ has been getting hot of late as he has been pitching much better than at the beginning of the season.
Keys to the game
No home runs: Happs biggest weakness by far has been the home run ball. He has allowed 16 home runs and if he can keep the ball down and locate better that should help his problem.
Put the ball in the air: Nova has the exact same problem, he has allowed 13 home runs this season. The Yanks need to take advantage of this and get the ball in the air.
Location: Guaranteed Rate Field
First Pitch: 8:10 PM ET

Game 2 Friday June 14th
Pitcher Preview
CC will take the mound as he faces off with one of the best pitcher in the AL this year: Lucas Giolito. CC has had an okay season to this point but its nothing compared to Giolito, Giolito has an ERA of 2.28 while CC has an ERA of 3.96, CC will have to pitch very well to stay in the game with Giolito.
Keys to the game
Again no homers: CC is another Yankee with a home run problem and he needs to get it under control if the Yankees are going to stay in the game.
Get the pitch count up: Giolito is going to be tough and the Yankees goal should be to get him out of the game, work the count and get in the White Sox bullpen.
Location: Guaranteed Rate Field
First Pitch: 8:10 PM ET

Game 3 Saturday June 15th
Pitcher Preview
The Yankees haven't decided on a starting pitcher yet, but whoever goes will face Reynaldo Lopez. Lopez has not had a good season at all. His ERA is over 6 and he has allowed 18 homers to this point.
Keys to the game
Keep going: The Yankees got some good offense in their first game against the Mets if they can bring that to this game we could see some crooked numbers on the scoreboard.
Location: Guaranteed Rate Field
First Pitch: 7:10 PM ET

Game 4 Sunday June 16th
Pitcher Preview
In the final game of the series Masahiro Tanaka will take on Odrisamer Despaigne. Despaigne has only thrown 6 innings to this point in the season but in that time he allowed 1 home run and has an ERA of 4.50. Tanaka has been great this season he's thrown 83 innings with an ERA of 3.58.
Keys to the game:
Make some adjustments: Tanaka didn't have the best outing against the Mets so he should go back and make a few adjustments and he'll be better than ever.
Just hit: There isn't much to know about Odrisamer Despaigne so just go out look for a pitch to hit and attack.
Location: Guaranteed Rate Field
First Pitch: 2:10 PM ET

The Yankees could win every game of this series they just have to play to their ability and when all is said in done, the Yankees could have a larger lead over the Rays!
