Yankees Twins preview 5/5/19

The Yankees will look to take 2 out of 3 from the Twins this afternoon! The Twins have the best record in the majors so if the Yankees could pull it off it would be quite the accomplishment.
Player to watch
There are two potential candidates for the player to watch one is Gary Sanchez and the other is Miguel Andujar. Sanchez has been on a tear he has hit home runs in the previous 2 games of this series and has been playing great. Andujar is playing in his second game since coming off the IL so that is still very exciting. I would have to say watch out for Sanchez because he could be getting on one of his signature hot streaks, but also watch Andujar he could be settling back into his old self and could start producing.
Pitching Match up
Today's match up will be between Domingo German and Michael Pineda (Big Mike!). Pineda has struggled this season, he comes limping into this start with a 2 and 2 record holding an ERA over 6. He has had a problem with home runs and could get shelled today. German is coming into this start looking strong he is tied for second in the majors with 5 wins and holds and ERA under 3. German has quietly been one of the biggest sunrises for the Yankees this year look for him to impress.
