Yankees Angels preview 4/23/19
By Max Grzymala
The Yankees look to win their 5th straight game tonight at 10:05 PM ET in the second game of this 4 game set.
Player to watch
Tonight's player to watch is Gleyber Torres, he hasn't had the best start to the season but I can see him breaking through tonight. I have liked a lot of the at bats hes had and the Angels starter Chris Stratton isn't anything special. I see Gleyber breaking through with a big game tonight.
Pitching Match up
Tonight's pitching match up will be fairly lopsided in favor of the Yankees. Domingo German takes the hill for the Yanks, he has been dominant so far this season, he has an ERA of 2.37 and a record of 3-1 so far this season. German has shown the ability to strike out batters, as long as he keeps the walks in check he can dominate the Angels lineup. For the Angels is Chris Stratton he has had a horriffic start to the season, he has a huge ERA of 7.00 and has allowed more hit (23) than innings pitched(19). This could turn out to be a huge advantage for the Yanks tonight.
Location: Angle Stadium of Anaheim
First Pitch: 10:07 PM ET
