Aaron Judge and Clint Frazier shine to help the Yankees beat the Orioles 6-4

David Ginsburg-AP

The Yankees are starting to look better. After beating the Orioles last night and on Thursday.

Game Summary

The Yankee offense was working well today especially the long ball which gave the Yankees all 6 of their runs. J.A. Happ still didn't look very good he only lasted 4.1 innings while allowing 5 hits and 2 runs while walking 2. Happ needs to pick up it so the Yankees don't have to blow through their entire bull pen whenever he pitches. The bullpen was very good with Ottavino, Green and Chapman providing scoreless appearances and Chapman getting his second save of the season. The one exception was Jason Holder who let up 2 runs which allowed the Orioles to take a late lead. Holder has still been solid this season so hopefully he can bounce back in his next appearance.

The Yankees got on the board in the first when Judge hit a 412 foot homer to almost dead center off of Dylan Bundy.

The Orioles bounced back in their half of the first when Trey Mancini hit a home run to tie the game at 1.

In the 3rd inning Judge hit his second home run of the game, another bomb off Bundy to put the Yankees up 3-1.

In the 5th the Orioles would strike back when they would make the score 3-2 after a run scoring single from Renato Nunez.

The Orioles would tie the game in the 7th when Chris Davis hit into a fielders choice resulting in Cedric Mullins scoring a run. The Orioles would then take the lead after Rio Ruiz hit a sac fly.

The Yankees would take the lead when Clint Frazier hit a 3 run home run to put the Yankees up for good!

Chapman would close out the game with a painless 9th.

The Yankees will play the Orioles tomorrow at 1:05 PM ET in the last game of this 3 game series as the Yankees will look for the sweep.
